Silver Spring Stage

Silver Spring Stage is an all-volunteer, nonprofit community theater. Since 1968, the Stage has dedicated itself to provide high-quality theater for all audiences at an affordable price in Montgomery County. We produce 7 full-length plays and an annual one-act festival, which features unpublished works by local playwrights.

The Stage selects a diverse range of plays: comedies and dramas, contemporary and classic, and some with thought-provoking themes and subject matter. We also offer an educational experience to our volunteers in all aspects of theater – acting, direction, design, crew, hospitality and administrative.
