Strength in Numbers

Not to be confused with Béla Fleck's late-'80s bluegrass supergroup of the same name, this Strength in Numbers is a six-piece heavy metal band founded in the year 2002, and hailing from southern New Jersey. Offering a combustible mixture of thrash and hardcore, plus a dash of emo-derived sensitivity made popular among many mid-2000s groups (Hatebreed, Trivium, etc.), vocalists Jason Lorentzen and Tyrone Campos, guitarists Joe and Mike Gurnari, bassist Anthony Pallaga, and drummer Bill Papenberg eventually signed with Ironboud Recordings and released their debut album, The Veil, in early 2005. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, All Music Guide
