Manchester United, one of the most popular and successful sports teams in the world, is coming to Washington D.C. as part of its 2014 Tour. Manchester United will take on Inter Milan on Tuesday, July 29 at 7 p.m. at FedEx Field.
The team’s visit will mark their first trip to the United States since 2011, when they played in front of a sell-out crowd against FC Barcelona. In Manchester United’s 136-year heritage, the team has won 62 trophies and earned a global community of 659 million fans.
World Cup veterans Wayne Rooney, David De Gea, Juan Mata and Shinji Kagawa are part of the traveling roster, as are recent signings Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw.
