Learn A Real Olympic Sport - Curling!

Just in time for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver! Curling is a competitive winter sport played between two teams of four players on a long rectangular sheet of ice. This game dates back to the 15th century in Scotland, but has developed into an internationally-played competition. This course will introduce students to the sport of curling and allow them to participate, compete, and appreciate the game as a spectator. Curling equipment is provided, but there will be a $25 facility fee, and students will need their own transportation.
