The Epilepsy Foundation Metropolitan Washington kicks off “November – Epilepsy Month” by hosting a Health, Wellness & Beauty Event on Sunday, November 1, 2009 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, 1700 Jefferson Davis Highway, Arlington, Virginia. From 1 - 7 PM, health, wellness, & beauty demonstrations, exhibits, and sessions will be open to the public with special drawings for prizes offered every half hour. Some offerings will include:

o Pfizer, Inc. sponsored smoking cessation educational presentation,
o Cyberonics, Inc. sponsored Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Therapy presentation,
o Flu Shots,
o Skin Care therapies,
o Nutrition management,
o Muscle therapy,
o Exercise management,
o Blood Pressure screenings, and
o Body Image consultations.
